The pdaRE.com Document Converter is a free tool available to
registered members of the community. Using the Document Converter you can
convert virtually any electronic file on your computer or on a website page
to a format viewable on your PDA.
You can store your converted documents online at pdaRE.com.
And, you get to decide whether the files are private or shared. Private files
are not available to other members of the community. Shared files can be
downloaded by anyone--it's a great way to distribute files to colleagues and
friends.

The Document Converter provides an easy
way to add all those great files you have stored on your computer
or found on the web to your PDA.
The Document Converter quickly converts
Word, Postscript,
PDF, HTML and Text
documents and prepares them for viewing on your PDA in either
iSilo or DOC format. No more fumbling with bulky,
complicated conversion utilities, the
Document Converter does it all for you with a few simple steps and, even
better, organizes and stores your converted files so you always
know where they are.
Converted documents are automatically stored in the
Document Management
section where they are available for you to preview,
download, email to friends or colleagues, and even make available
to other members of the pdaRE.com
community.

Converting Documents

You can convert a document from somewhere else on the web by entering the URL in
the Convert a Web Page box. Otherwise a file on your computer can
be converted by selecting the file with the Browse... button.
The Title
that you enter for the document will be used as the title of the
document in your Palm document reader. You can augment the title
with a short Description of the document. The Description
is especially important for documents that are to be shared with
other pdaRE.com
members as
it provides a quick indication of the document content.
The Reader
is the type of format that the document reader on your PDA supports.
If you do not have a reader for your device, download the
iSilo Reader.
